Unique Creations Await You

MEET BRITT:
Did you ever make Valentine’s Day cards growing up? As children of a kindergarten teacher, my sister and I made them all the time at home. One year my mom had some thin strips of paper and a tool that she used to fashion them into shapes such as hearts and curly q’s. I was fascinated and wanted to know more. I learned that this technique is called quilling. I bought a starter kit and taught myself the basics. Over the years I would give my creations to friends and family for special occasions. I received a lot of compliments about my creations and was persuaded to sell them. These days, as the manager at a bridal shop, I get to put my creativity to use regularly surrounded by fashion merchandising and design. I get so many positive comments on the wedding themed cards we have on display at the salon that I have decided to make them available to more folks.
I’m so excited to share my creations with everyone. I hope you all enjoy my labors of love as much as I enjoy making them. Thank you for supporting me and helping turn my lifelong hobby of crafting into a business venture.
